Report a Correction
Slang changes fast and we do not always get it right first time. If you spot an error, we want to know.
What to report
We welcome corrections on any of the following:
- A definition that is factually wrong
- An origin story that is inaccurate or incomplete
- A term whose meaning has shifted since we wrote the entry
- A term that is offensive in ways our parent note does not capture
- A term we are missing that belongs in the dictionary
- An example sentence that feels unnatural or wrong in context
How to submit a correction
Email britobrighton9@gmail.com with the subject line "Correction" and include:
- The term you are correcting
- What is currently wrong
- What the correct information is (with sources or examples if you have them)
Or use the contact form below.
What happens next
A real person reads every correction. We aim to review and update within a few days. If the correction is accepted, the definition gets updated and the last-reviewed date changes. We do not publish a correction log but we do act on reports.
Thank you for helping make SlangBridge more accurate. Good documentation is a community effort.
